We had a 4m wooden catamaran come around with us in awful weather two years ago with a 30hp on the back. Though he was a very experienced offshore skipper. He was ahead of many another boat, skipping off the tops of the waves.
The year before that two crazy Irish dudes cone around in a sub 4m tillered SIB, wearing swimming goggles!!!! they were pushing the boundaries of safety in my eyes, but they made it.
Not to mention the Boudaries of Sanity as I remember!
Still..."Good Ol boys" who showed a few what a bit of Hypalon some Air and Big Balls really CAN do!!
It did help to be in a pretty large Armada too
Think they needed those swimming Goggles most of the Trip!
