Is this about right?
Why not just come down to Ty calch & join the gang. Easy launch, no drama, plenty of (free) parking, no tide to worry about etc..

If you launch from Porth Daniel do not use the car park at the side of the slip, cos on spring tides it floods you will have to pay council and launch fees at the slip . Plus tractor launch if you use the boatyard next door (optional). hadd and I got stung with that a couple of years ago

If you are not staying on Anglesey I would launch from Chris's at Ty Calch Caernarfon. Tractor launch
16 all in (recommended)

Agreed its cheaper at TY Calch.

Though we're heading clockwise from there so to see the Strait you need to round.

Is this the place? https://maps.google.co.uk/?ll=53.127...6968&t=h&z=18"

If so it certainly looks like a nice place to launch. And cheap as chips

As far as going all the way round I think i could probably do it on a full tank + a 25litre jerry. I did 40 nautical on about 40 litres, so if i brim the tank (100Litres) + the jerry then I should have enough?
