Erm... A quick google of whitecliff bay implies that there a are couple of beach cafes in the bay.... Does anyone know if this is so? I'm wondering about loo stops or can anyone recommend anywhere on the Chanel side (apart from the Chanel itself!)

Ventnor or Yarmouth, which is not quite Channel side but reasonably close.

I am planning on being there. Will arrive in Lymington on the Saturday. I will be spending a few days on the south coast and leaving on the following Thursday. Does anyone fancy a run in company? It might be a bit ambitious but is Lulworth Cove from Lymington and back doable?

We're leaving from Yarmouth, happy to meet up and run down the solent, prob pick a few other ribs up on the way
Its about an hour cruising to whitecliff bay from western solent, think the rendezvous was midday? We were planning on leaving Yarmouth around 10.30am but flexible depending on the general consensus.
Theres another organised run around the island the day before if anyones up for a practice!
Boat and Jetski Dawnbuster & Funday - Boatmad.com - possibly doing this as well, see what the weathers doing.................
