I'm launching the night before so we can change our times to suit others. It would be good to meet with a crowd and go in together.

Sorry I called you Paul above, names are even worse than my tipign

What are your earliest and latest times for crossing the bar at L'hampton?
We can get out of Chi and Langstone at any time, except perhaps full spring ebb with an F8 from the south.

Hi

I'm planning to launch from Littlehampton, and I would love to have somebody to cruise with. Since I don't know the area at all.

I'm taking the ferry from Calais to Dover on the 4 June the ferry will arrive in Dover around 10.15, I don't know how long it will take to drive from here to Littlehampton

Anybody planning to be at Littlehampton around this time ?

Rene

No doubt Phil Chitty will respond to your question cos he plans to leave on that day from Littlehampton but not so sure of the time. I think that your arrival will be a bit too late for him.

I am going the day before

High Water is at 12:50 on 4th June
last launch at 17:30
Marina closes at18:00

it is about 130 miles from Dover to Littlehampton and towing that may take you 3 hours and a bit and then you have to launch ect so it will be a late departure

If you decide to set off on your own keep well away of Selsy Bill
I believe I have already sent you the waypoints

Once in the marina ask for Paul one of the supervisors, they know you are coming

Hi All
It is now looking doubtful that I will be able to make the meet in my own RIB.
My axel has still not arrived. It is now 2 weeks late on a 2 week delivery It is finished and waiting for the company I am buying from to arange delivery, and has been for some time.
I may be going with a friend, but he has to drop his son off at Hill Head on the way.
Please carry on without me unless you hear otherwise.
Sorry.

If you are stuck, you are welcome to hitch a lift with us on Juno, out of Chichester Marina

Many thanks for the offer.
I have just finished fitting the new axel which arrived this afternoon.
I should be able to sort the brakes tomorrow. If not I will go in Nick Yowards Porter 575, with a massive 50hp on the back. (Sorry Nick, I know, its a 4st and only sips fuel)

To all that are around.

I'm launching at Littlehampton tomorrow morning at about 09:00 and hope to be in Cowes in about an hour.

Anyone around at this time to take the trip together?

Mark,
It might be small, but at least I have been out on the water enjoying this fine weather ! Which just backs up the RIBnet ethos of getting out on the water and enjoying yourself, rather than lie under a rib trailer, in dirt, trying to get a new ****** axle to fit !!

Oh no, you got me doing that as well.

Nick
