I've found two petrol stations on the Boulevard Bourbon which is about 50 yards from the marina in Paris. One looks like it's a 24hr self service station; I can't see a photo of the other one. I've just measured the distance from the Port d'Ilon to the Arsenal marina. I make it 65nm. I can easily make the round trip if need be. The distance from Le Havre to Port d'Ilon is about the same.

There's a Shell petrol station on L'Avenue Aristide Brian in Rouen 3/4 of a mile from the marina at Ile de la Croix.

That should do me but what about everyone else?

Don't forget there's a 99.9% definate fuel berth at Port St. Louis. In the passage plan I came up with and posted on my website (assuming everyone is happy to go along with that?) I selected an overnight stop at Port St. Louis on the way there and Port D'ilon on the way back. I reckon it's probably best to fuel where we're overnighting so we have more scope with opening hours etc.
On saying that I guess anywhere we see petrol, we'll take it just to be safe.

Port St. Louis sells petrol and diesel; I've just given them a ring. They can supply 1,000 litres no problem and you can pay by credit card. They don't have 24hr service but the office is open from 10:30 until 21:00. The Ibis hotel in Poissy is just under two miles from the marina and has 65 rooms.

That should have read "The distance from Rouen to Port d'Ilon is about the same".

Hotels seem to be filling up, I'd like to start getting prices/making bookings soon.

Do folks want to stick their neck out and say yes or no if you're coming? Or specifically if you want hotels and don't fancy sleeping on a piece of floating grp for a week and a half?

Obviously I'll give you prices before you need to decide but I need numbers to get prices!

I'm coming for sure and my cousin may come as well. I'll phone him at the weekend to confirm. As for hotels, the cheaper the better as far as I'm concerned. All the places we'll stop at should have Ibis or Mercure hotels. I've stayed in both types; they're fine.

I cant just yet

Really really want to, this comes under the category of once in a lifetime and it would be a huge shame to miss it. Also the Witch seems to think it will be nice going frock shopping for the big wedding.

i've been reading your posts for some time now and applaud on how well you have planned for the trip, fuel, hotels, nav, etc, another thought entered my mind, if you had a rib like mine you wouldn't have to worry about any of it, i must find more time to do more of what you guys are doing, i seem to have less time since i retired
