Rib cruises southwest in Plymouth area

Hi all, are there any planned rib cruises in the Plymouth area being/already planned? I have done plenty of solo runs out to Looe and the Yealm and want to either go further afield or find some new places to explore.
Get in touch if you know of anything.

Andy

Hi , I come to Plymouth nearly every weekend and would be more than happy to make up numbers to go wherever you like - Dartmouth, Salcombe etc to the east or Fowey and Falmouth etc to the west. Channel Islands on a good day/weekend. Just let me know at very short notice if you fancy

Hi Sutty,

Thank you for the offer and I will get in touch - although I think my expectations are a little lower than yours! Only been as far as the Yealm and Looe really so far so Fowey or Channel Islands may be a stretch for my little rib..... Only a 5.7m Brig with an ETEC 75 on her. Where do you travel to Plymouth from?

Andy

Same here, can probably get down at quite late notice from Swindon and bring the rib, or happy to come and make numbers up on another boat and contribute to fuel etc.

Happy to go anywhere really

Hi, I live near Stoke-on-Trent, a quick 500 mile round trip!! If you have been to Looe then Fowey is not much further and I think a much better place to go. There are no tidal problems, plenty of space to tie up and a nice town to walk around. If it is a calmish day then a run to Fowey in you rib in company would be good. If you want to meet for a chat or plan a run we can meet at Sutton Harbour Marina without boat if you like and enjoy free coffee and croissants on the veranda, let me know

Sounds good, and being from the midlands myself (Derby) we shouldn't have any language barriers! Will definitely be up for a meet and chat and hopefully get out on the water as well once I get time allocated from the wife to enjoy myself!

Another Brummy here as well, I'd like to join in if that's ok? I tow down from Sutton and launch at camber, but interested in new places and runs out? Boat is a Ribeye 600 / Yam 115

Cheers

Jim

Hi Jim,

More than welcome if I can find a 'free' weekend to book you all in! Definitely won't be this weekend as we already have plans, but would like to get something sorted before I go away at the end of the month.
