Home now and very tired

What a fantastic day and thanks to everyone who came along, a special thanks to Lisa from Macmillan who gave up her Sunny Sunday with her family to support us

Thanks so much to all the build team, I think we all made except for Jumpin Jack who was on a shout, missed you dude but we'll catch up soon

The furthest traveled Ribnet member was from the Falklands

Hats off to Matt h, AJ and Peter M who came straight from Calshot via the Needles, Ventnor and Bembridge

Thanks for all your messages and wishes of good luck

Skipper Marky, was a dude for giving up his day to run rib rides

Dry Run, you are awesome, you have been so great in having us today and thank you for arranging the Pig Roast. I really enjoyed seeing the boat lowered in off the folks.

It was an amazing turn out, must have seen about a 100 of you at different times of the day and thats without people passing by.

Took loads of pics but these five sums the day up quite well for me.

I would love to see your pics too

Thanks Again

Alex

I forgot to mention that the 600 raised today will have 150 Gift Aid added to it, so that's a total of 750

And thats a great result and I'm glad you got to see the boat too.

Christopher and his wife came along with the guys who fitted the tubes and their families too. I got them to sign the spare screen as they are all part of the build team and I have to say that they were honoured

Good to see everyone in fine form, the boat is looking great (everybody was drawn to stroking the tube material!), and a lovely location. The weather was a real bonus too!

Special mention to the Bridge Tavern for the hospitality, and Dry Run who was working hard on the day under close scrutiny of the watching crowds.

Photos to follow later.

Had some errands to do and engines to view.
Dropped of last item to a forum member 7 pm time to shower food and fell asleep. Now bloody wide awake. Grrrrr
