Nice LongJohn glad you got my little SIB getting some air it landed so hard the engine popped up into shallow water mode

Hmmm I managed to loose the video footage of the tow back so glad you had some

Salvage cost well it will be worth a lot more when it is fixed. It needs a new CD unit only one of the spark plugs is firing which the cost is a 1/4 of the engines value

Just for info it was a super cheap day in petrol costs...but have just got home to an unwanted 60 bill for maybe bring a little to keen in the car on the way down.....oops!!!!!

Boat fast, drive slower?....

Do you boys have your SIBS insured?

I have a Rib that is insured, then I have a sib and then I have an Avon Redcrest with a 3.5 hp engine.

I am concerned more about the liability part.

Interested to hear your thoughts.

Hi, good point, no mine is not insured but I am looking into a prop guard for it.

I'll ring my insurance company next week to ask about public liability insurance. I wonder if I'm covered through my rib insurance?

Yes I used noble first year about 50 per year but now use craftinsure about 30 insured value 700 that gives 2 mil liability not worth thinking about really

I think you get a discount if your part of a club not sure what's needed to create an official sibclub , I will be coming down to poole and weymouth this spring being a fairweather sibber:-)
