Poole/Lulworth/Christchurch - Weekend 28/29 April 2007

Linx & Seahawk IV will be weekending in Poole. A picnic lunch is planned for Saturday in Lulworth Cove.

Anybody else heading that way?

yep, Stick to the channel DO NOT be tempted to wander outside, this year it's narrow!!
At the entrance it shallow between the 2nd - 3rd laterals on the approach take care and favour the port (Red) lateral. This year you run parallel (sp) to shore before reaching Mudeford quay, again keep to the channel.
What time are you considering? you need to be out by 14.00 at the latest it will be shallow in the harbour by blackberry point and a b***** to get out otherwise.

If in doubt give us a call
Regards

Brian

I can see there being some fun this year with any bigger boats crossing at this point .Two images attached show the turn up to the quay , second image is me stood next to the starboard buoy marked with an arrow in the first image. It does go deeper just past the buoy but you can see why Brian says to favour the red buoy.
