The launch is iminent, feed up waiting for the hatch covers to be finished, so i have now given them a date.

They have not even started on the jockey pods so it looks as if its down to me, if there not done on time you might have to bring a couple of deck chairs

Keeping up will be simples for my 50hp - careful use of a line and a cleat will resolve that - be quiet on board too

It's looking like Saturday the 30th March will be good for this run.

High tide is late at 1620 ish but hopefully they'll be enough water to get into the harbour if we leave Plymouth at 12 and bimble over.

Launching will be from Oreston or Saltash depending on where you're coming in from - I'll be aiming for Saltash. Then meet up at Bovisands at 12, can get a cuppa or bacon sandwich whilst waiting, watch out for the dive boats then head off.

So far I think we have;

1. Andy (Treerat) on Nutkin
2. Ian A
3. Pete (Boats and outboards)

Feel free to add your boat / name to the list

We're definitely interested in this run - well I am - may have to work on Mrs T & the pups - but should be within their capability given good weather.
Be good to get some wider experience in company

Ideal, plenty of top side things to keep the family happy, before, during or after (sending mine to Woodlands for the day).

Make a weekend of it and stay over

We're in Kingswear over the weekend anyway - will probably be first run of the season unless we manage a quick blast on Good Friday.

Looe run

Hi guys

This run sounds good for me, it will be my first longish run since getting the boat launched last October when Ian A paid me a visit whilst tied up to Delta buoy in Plymouth Sound with a blocked breather.

Cheers

According to google maps it's about 14nm one way.

It'll be my first run on Nutkin ever

Wash your mouth out - rather go hungry.

In Cornwall, eat Cornish. Great local pasty shop middle of town that does a very nice chicken curry

A pastie should be a proper pastie - none of these foreign new-fangled fillings for me- chicken tikka indeed!. Steak / horse, potato, turnip, carrot, mangel worzels and a bit of ex-tin-miner is what should be in one!

Save me a seat (or tube) incase I don't have a Rib in at the time. Looks like the Cobra 7.5 will be gone next week
