How about first weekend in October for a run to Fowey on the Saturday, stay over night and head back on the Sunday. Maybe see if the Falmouth boats would be interested.

Eat at Sam's if were early enough http://www.eatoutcornwall.com/cornwa...nt.php?pv=5423 , followed by copious amounts of alcohol and then stay at the old Quay House.

All subject to weather of course

Fowey to Falmouth

I was planning to go from Fowey to Falmouth sometime over the next couple of weeks (weather permitting). Where is the best place to tie up, and have a decent lunch in Falmouth?

We went from Plymouth to Falmouth couple of weeks back.
We tied up overnight at the Visitors Yacht Haven.
It may not be the best and is not the cheapest place, but it is at the food end of Falmouth and our B&B was just accross the road.
