It's all weather dependant for us, the mrs has bust her knee (ACL) so it'll have to be reasonably calm ish. If it's looking like being ok, we'll be camping.

Weather not looking to good for Saturday folks,darn't risk crashing the Kerny-Kopter ,might have to postpone trip for a couple of weeks, will make a decision on Tuesday

Latest forecast on XC weather is for the wind to gust to over 30 mph on Saturday so due to the nature of launching from Knott-End slip I have made the decision to postpone the trip till Saturday 24th May. Sorry about this folks but must put safety of people and boats first. Times and details of trip are the same.
Let's hope for better weather so we can land Pikey Dave on Piel and launch
the Kerny-Kopter

We have been offered the launching and secure storage facilities of Blackpool & Fleetwood yacht club for this event. The launching is far easier than Knott- End
Although the tidal window is less. The clubhouse has full dining ,drinking,shower
Facilities and the Commodore has extended a warm welcome to visiting Ribnetters for the Piel Cruise. I will post directions nearer the time
