Penzance to Scillies - Tuesday 21 August 2007

OK,

Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and advice regarding my proposed Scillies trip. I aim to depart Penzance around 9am on Tuesday 21st. I will be staying down there for a week so its not a day trip for me, but two or more boats are better than one on the way over. Let me know if you want to join me.

Cant make it myself (haven't even got the boat in the water this year ) but will pop down to say bon voyage, work allowing..

Always good to be waved off into the blue yonder, if conditions are benign there should be time for a warm up burn around Mounts Bay, if it is lumpy I will want all the time available for the crossing as I am not familiar with the tides in the Scillies - hope to get there as soon after HW as possible.
