we want to get over to south wales for camping and ribbing around that time so that would work well, we would need your help to launch the boat with your landy as we will be in the motorhome........unless the slip is enormous!

Jono: will you be arriving by Camel?

Lawrenny has a tractor to launch with if you need it: £10, I think. Slipway there is quite gentle with lots of room around, so you may be ok with your bus, Hugh.

Good choice of venue. Don't tell everyone about it though

It's not a camp site as such, but a static caravan site which has a handful of pitches for tourers on a hardstanding. I've never seen tents there and don't think they even have any space to pitch tents. If you like, I'll give them a ring and see what they can advise?
There is a youth hostel in the village, about 5-10 mins walk from the yacht station, if that's any use?

Jono,
Is this a cruise in formation or is the onus on anyone going to make their own passage down?
I'd be interested but not as a lone rib for that kind of distance.

I've just booked a meeting in my diary in Haverfordwest on the Friday - I think I might have to look into making a weekend of it, only a few other things to cancel first.
I'd be in a company car though, so no towbar. Anyone got any space for a little one aboard.....oh, ok, a slightly big one?
