Oban cruise 2012

We would love to come along especially as you've guaranteed the weather is going to be good again (like it was last time)! Not sure on our crew numbers yet, three confirmed waiting on a few others.

Doug, I'll try my best to get along this year as well with a new boat hopefully if all sorted out in time. So keep me updated on details.

Thanks

Iv done a deal and gettijng a Ferryman 7.5meter hull which is getting a new deck fitted with tracking which will allow me to fit 6 of my seats on it for taking customers out. Just got to sell my boat now to get fund an engine for the new one.

Spoke to Gordon and think he is going to come along with me again this time.

I hear you've bought yourself a new toy / home?

Easdale RIB Rendezvous 5/6 May

You guys are more than welcome to head for Easdale for the weekend. There is likely to be a large gathering on Saturday night at The Puffer.

If the event falls outwith your timeslot Easdale extends a warm welcome to all RIB and small boat enthusiats. The harbour - island side - is very sheltered, you can tie alongside easily and of course there is the Puffer Bar and Restaurant

Hi Dougie.
Since you put on such a welcoming cruise last year when I was on Baby Lemon with Mike, I'm seriously thinking of coming up again this year for at least part of the cruise - probably from the 1st Tuesday or Wednesday.
It's a long way to tow the 8.6m Shearwater, so I was wondering what length some of the other boats are likely to be? It would be much easier to tow up the 4.7m Searider to use on flatter days (if there are any) - and hitch a lift with Mike if we know it's going to be a long day or too lumpy.
On the other hand I could leave both boats down here in the warm and sunny south and spend all the time with Mike!
What do you think?
Trev.
