Rather you than me if you're doing a "conger" rather than "conga"!

Though you'd have to catch one first, which will never happen!

I’ve Just received my Anglesey council launch fee bill for the coming season. It’s gone up to £150 from £120 plus the annual registration fee of £20. This covers all council launch sites on the isle, 6 in total I believe. Day launch has increased to £15 per day and you will also require to be registered with proof of insurance.

Unfortunately there was a separate note saying that the launch site at Beaumaris will be closed for most of the season due to improvements being carried out to the area around the pier and slip, please be aware of this for the easter cruise!! In addition the launch site that I use the most regularly, Treath Bychan is being updated /reworked and may not be available for early season.

Summary: The council has increased the launching cost massively and I will not have full access to the launch sites that I use the most.

Dont worry mate, Menia bridge is ok now with the car park across the road which cost £6 last year or we can always launch at Tim's place over in caernarfon but the gate on the dock is open only a couple of hrs either side of the tide.

gives tide times in beaumaris, menai, port dinorwic, caernarfon, conwy and liverpool.

Not long now. Just ordered new dinghy, booked in boat for dewinterising and organised the relaying of the mooring.

Whoop whoop!

Whose bringing the sun?
