Role-Call December Cruise

We're just 2 weeks away from what I hope will be a well attended jaunt around Cardigan Bay.

As previously discussed we're looking to meet on Sunday 28th around 10:00 outside the Harbour Masters Office in Pwllheli. There's a great slip with easy access and plenty of storage for boats, cars and the like.

Jono's office will, I hope, be available to discuss the merits of "Yorkshire Tea" whilst musing over the charts and generally familiarising ourselves with eachother (taking the piss out of Ian for not having a RIB)......

Accommodation advice has already been posted on this thread by David Manning, who I'm sure will revert with further advice if sought.

If the weather's not great we have the option of a launch from Morfa Nefyn, which is about 5 miles further down the coast (15minutes). Some may even prefer this option as the pub will be open !

Can all those interested (actually going to attend, not just tell us they are - Phil Davies) post below. Further, feel free to call me if you have any queries.

See you there,

Graeme 07770 626074

As you know, I never like to let my public down.
See you on the slipway - I'll be the cardboard cut-out in the Range Rover

No problem using my office, bring your own T

Big fuss at Morfa Nefyn at mo, over drift nets. Your likly to get your car pushed in the drink if you launch your boat there.

We were the talk of the town after last time.

Providing your intent is to catch bass, they are legal. Small buoy at each end and couple of hundred yards of net in between.

Just some old chap.......

with local knowledge. we were just recovering when he approached us in his car advising that we'd been lucky not to get caught in any nets. We laughed it off in a polite manner, however it would appear that Jono, being a local has heard we were the talk of the town.

I carry a very large and sharp dive knife for just such events / emergencies !

I knew someone called Annette in Cork.

Missus
Was she nervous about the wedding, or did she pull herself together?

What about Hugh G Rection ?

My favourite, and this is also very sadly for him, true, was a family callled Sprout of all things. And what did they name their only son...

Yes, you've guessed it

Russell Sprout

Maybe he changed his name by deedpoll to Ginger Tw*t ....
