"New Year Cruise"

Well it was a fabulous day with good company, five RIBs and some new friends.

Unfortunately my camera packed up after the first few pics, possibly something to do with the wave which hit me head on as I was about to take a photo of JONO leaping around in the new-look SeaRider!

I'll post what I have on the Gallery and look forward to those taken by the rest of the gang.

Happy New Year to Everyone on RIBnet

John

Hi all

As force 8 was forecast we bottled out and did not take our boat, however we turned up and had a brilliant day after getting into several layers of clothing and some crappy waterproofs these were later described as "utter S**T" Phil thought i said that they were full of S**T the question was answered when I took my wellies off! I can thoroughly recommend going out on MeMe's boat his catering was second to none and if he enjoyed dishing out the nosh half as much as we enjoyed eating it then Graham must have had a bloody good day. As newcomers we were a bit apprehensive about conditions etc but we need not have worried everyone was very friendly and helpful If anyone is new to ribbing then go out with this group you will learn a lot and more importantly you will have a load of fun.

Many thanks to everyone. Now that I have thawed my fingers out I am going to search the drysuit threads !!!!!!!!!

HAPPPY NEW TO YEAR TO YOU ALL

Fred & Jane
