Sorry, being a bit thick. I'll blame jet lag - It is definitely off Yarmouth @ 12.00 that we are meeting up, and NOT off of the Needles?

I can put together a quick "rib-raid quiz" this evening if people are interested?

Just a bit of fun for the Saturday evening over a glass or two of calvados...

... now let's see, can you tow a Humber destroyer if you passed your test on 2nd Jan 1984 and have a Landy with MAM of 3500kg ... (joke!)

Same here in Poole wind eased ( but still 'breezy and now raining) - windsurfers were screaming about in Poole harbour - nearly as quick a certain Technohull RIB that was out

It don't look nice; from what I can see on various web sites we are going to get wet both ways, and I am not talking about spray

I may do the same. I put my name down early for this one but couldn't follow through for various reasons. Have great trip all.

Does anyone know if David and co made the crossing today? There isn't much that will stop Avocet when he is on a mission but it did look a bit grim earlier.

Just heard from Avocet! Quote "We've just arrived in St Vaast after five hours in a spin dryer on wash cycle. It's probably the most stupid thing I've ever done! Hot shower beckons! "

As I said, there isn't much that will stop Avocet when he is on a mission I'm surprised he went for the shower first, it's usually beer!

Glad they made it OK. I hope the rest of you have a better crossing tomorrow.
