holyhead stop

jeff garrard (manager) of holyhead marina has give us the green light for a stop at the marina, to use there excellent faciltes. he has noted if we can raft up as much as poss as there is a tallships meeting. I,ve contacted the coast guard telling them whats happening, (weather related) about our cruise. but will contact them on the day
PLEASE NOTE
when entering holyhead brackwater please keep the green bouy to starboard and pass by at 12knts only. at the marina and mooring yaghts keep your speed to 4knts

channel 16 they will instruct you to a there call channel ussually 84

HOLYHEAD IS A WORKING PORT DO NOT ENTER
(big ferries, ships etc)
if needs be in emergencies please call them up on channel 12 asking for holyhead port control and wait for there reply

PLEASE NOTE holyhead coast gaurd watch over the harbour and entrance (best behav)
ps no BSssssss!!

Excellent work Neal. If you could liaise with the coastguard on the day it will prevent lots of people doing so. I'll add this to the summary briefing post. I will pm all members on the list nearer the day too. Be good to catch up.

Are you launching at Ty Calch or Bull Bay? If the former, please could you help Rocknrolla/tonyt etc lead through the bridges!

i will be launching at bull bay, depends on weather.
that german kerny will keep that lot in his sights!!!
i will be comin round for the start to help out and gladly offer my boat as cover,pickup and tow, i need room for the journo but hopfully will put him on other craft
