Lots of occluded fronts and cyclonic wind there Shag. Likely to blow a hooley from the SW and bring some sea with it.

Where in Fal are you planing on camping Mitch?

Falmouth campsite....hadn't really decided we've stayed at tretham mill before but that's expensive so were going to try tregunwith(?) farm. Any other suggestions.
We hope to leave the rib at Mylor on a swinging mooring.

Tregunwith is good, I know the guys who run it.
There's Penwarne Farm - Camp Site Falmouth, Camping and Touring Park Falmouth, Cornwall just down the road from me. Basic, but gives good access to the Helford.

Helford moorings available here. Helford River Boats | Boat Hire and Ferry on the Helford River

The Helford is a bit nicer than Mylor IMO. But then, I would say that.

Hi I'm looking at doing the Silly's (Finally) this September 14-21 ish. I was thinking Penzance to St.Mary's (leaving car & trailer in the secure lock up)

Looking for weather window of no more than F5 with favourable direction for sea state. In an ideal world a nice high pressure system (hoping for an Indian summer). Just had the engine serviced.
I have 3.2 inflatable Zodiac - wondering whether its worth taking rolled up as tender???(space could become an issue) Wanted to take my kites also

Kit list / travel plan / 4 x POB, 2 x Dogs
Will shrink & laminate my chart, file passage plan, onboard chart plotter, depth, VHF + handheld, flares, Life jackets. 200L onboard. 25L backup for Aux. engine, Collision pack, oars, Dual battery, electric pump for tubes & tender inflation.

Anyone see an obvious hole in my plan??
