Hiya Jon

I promised DHF ( Paul ) that I would try and get back to Neyland for a weekend before the year was out . I like to get out to Grassholm & The Smalls , also Ramsey and as far as Fishguard . It would not be until the end of September or October due to other commitments for the next few weekends . Needless to say the weather has to look half-promising , 'cause it can get very lumpy out there . Praps Brad might join us ?

Bern,
I will PM anyone who shows an interest on here once we manage to short-list a few weekends. As you rightly say - sea state needs to be favourable.

Your name's on the list

Daniel , much depends on the M25 but I always set out very early in the morning and whole trip can take less than six hours with a break along the way . I normally make a weekend of it , leaving the boat in Neyland Marina , and stopping at a nearby B&B .

Simon , having just retired , we have bought a static caravan in Fishguard Bay and hope to cruise from there next year if I can find a place to keep the rib.

Jon , look forward to meeting up !

Wouldn't it be great if this high pressure remains, conditions have been ideal for offshore cruising recently,
may even see some Fin Whales this time Bern, excellent to hear retirement plans are working well,
Fishguard is a great choice, with the mountains and sea at your doorstep,
I'm not sure about boat storage up there though, you may need a sib after all for mooring access.
hopefully weather conditions will remain similar to this vid from last OCT.

Grassholm this Saturday 20th

Looks like good combination of weather & tides.
Thinking of a departure around 0900 from Neyland
Have PM'd those already interested (except Daniel - your mailbox is full)

Anyone Else?
