Which direction we go is probably going to be weather dependent at that time of year Steve but a trip to the Town Quay at Conwy would be my vote if the weather plays ball.

Understand the weather issue, but was after a rough distance to work out how much fuel to bring.

Caernarfon to Conwy and back would be circa 55 miles if you go past puffin. You'll use 1-1.5L on your Ballistic, so 100L will cover you even at WOT, have fun.
