Mad NW ribsters at it again

well wev'e been at it again
launch at stanna and down th river to meet up with Gary in tigger11.Graham and Don in alamo and me in smurf
(you dont have to be mad to go out in january but it helps)
well we are and we did.
only to be met with ten yes 10 foot waves
Gary in tigger 11 taking them in his stride whilst Graham and myself were flying i think i spent more time out of the water than in and iv'e got a bruise over my right eye to prove it (yes it was a bit rough (as Gary would put it)need a crash helmet not goggles
needless to say no pic's were taken due to holding on TIGHT.
took some pic's whilst on the river though will try and post them shortly
thanks to Gary and Graham for a most enjoyable and exciting day
Barry

bl**dy 'ell Barry. We heard Gary on the radio during the course we were running today although that was difficult due to the windnoise from outside the building. Let me know when you are coming again cos I could probably sell tickets to watch!! Did Gary tell you again that it was "calm out there" this time?

Thanks for letting me know you are coming again-I'll ensure that all loose fence panels, slates, chimney pots etc are secure by then ready for the weather you keep bringing!

Hi Folks

Yes I admit that was a bit rough.

Its times like this that you really find out what is waterproof and whats not.

Dont know how but I even managed but I even got some water into my engine bay.

Dam good day though. Think on the law of averages though we should be due for a few calm days, lets hope for one on the 7th March.

Thanks for a good day, will have to stop out longer next time.
Maybe if we get a calm day the idea of some training, towing etc from a previous post sounded good, toghther with a trip somwhere real rather than just "playing" in the channel.

Look forward to the pics, must get the camcorder mounted on the console frame oneday.

Regards Gary
