Lundy this weekend

T.T Rocky and I are Cruiseing to Lundy Island for overnight stay on Sat..returning Sunday at our leisure.
Plan is to launch at Cardiff am...if anyone fancies the jaunt let me know and I'll forward the details...
We have managed to secure B&B but not sure if this option is still open...although the Camping is.

Have a great time, hope the weather gets better as it is horrible here in the smoke

Enjoy, I did some work for Lundy Island as the company I work with provided the generators for the island and power units for some of the workboats, just never got to go there though.

Very envious, ribcraft or osprey? be an interesting comparison

Hi Maximus,
Where was that first photo taken, tied to the quay?
Store my boat at Cardiff dry stack and plan to visit Lundy soon. Did you pick up one of the mooring buoys overnight?
Regards
Iain

Hi Iain, the first photo was taken at Ilfracombe, where we stopped en route to plunder Tony's supplies
Only Fixed moorings for Boating visitors to the Island...but no problem.
You can often get a B&B deal in one of the Cottages Bunkhouse or the lighthouse but generally not till the last minute.ie a day or two before you go.
Well worth a visit!....and a lovely run down the Devon Coast.

Looks like a fair swim to shore once you're moored up!

Am planning this trip soon myself!

If you are going to swim it...Take some Fins!
Not as far as it looks in the photo though..and better when it's calm.
