Out diving the Beagle and Wallachia, expensive day out though. Every time I let someone else drive they broke something, one rammed the rocks in Largs Marina (no damage thankfully other than a scratched skeg) then stood on the bilge pump in the well and broke it, then another rammed a yacht in Kip marina and took out the radar reflector on the anchor over the bow.
Only about £100 of damaged boat to replace
On top of this one of my wheels has started a hairline crack which has almost split the wheel completely round the hub, heard the noise and stopped just before it seperated from the boat, more money!

Plus the dog decided he needed the toilet and crapped on my dive kit, it will be lucky now

Rathlin Island

We (me and the Tonka) are heading to Rathlin island for a bit of diving (Bruce??)on the weekend of 4/5th June if anyone ups for it. Plan is to leave kip on Saturday morning, not sure when need to check tides at Rathlin, and head to Campbelltown for brecky and fuel, then over to Rathlin for some diving. Into Ballycaslte for air then another dive on Saturday. Staying in Tents on the grass at the pub and couple of dives on the Sunday. BBQ for tea on the Sat and maybe one for brecky of the Sun, if anyone fancies it
Who won the race on Saturday outside the marina, we watched for a while but as you were going round in small circles couldnt work out who was in the lead
Andy

Ps Gary it wasnt my fault ....put themm up!!!

I am in Ullapool diving that weekend but if it was another we would be interested. If we were bringing our RIB we would have to meet at Campbeltown though, we'd never keep up over the distance from kip to there unless it was flat calm Or are you meaning going with you?

Sunday was a good day out, just the small problems that sometimes happen when you go out in a boat and cost money to fix for the next time!

ribs are much better for chasing sea gulls!!! installed a new cd player in the rib so i was out testing that in the bouncy stuff as well. (and for the neds its a removable job!!)

You could have launched at Southend which would have given you about a 20 mile run to the Loch Garry. Our boats are full this time but we are planning to do Islay probably the following month sometime.
Andy

Ps Craig what type of CD player did you fit?? did it work?

Blaupunkt Mp3 cd player. you really have to try and make it skip in the big waves. face off one so its relativly safe.
