It seems the isle of wight has come to a complete standstill. Apparently its grid lock everywhere!

I hope they've all got passports and visas.

Weather is looking good for this trippage, as long as we get out of there before the rain showers!

Nick, good to meet up with you again. Travelled across with Jimbo to the festival and however didn't recognise any of the bands playing, but had excellent views of the stage from the river. Whiteshoes arrived just and the tide was ebbing away and the risk of a long wait. Offers of a long lunch in the Folly were tempting but a swim in Osbourne bay to escape the heat much more enticing. Shame the fish weren't more willing.

Seems the Cowes scrubber is working again,

Pete

What a wonderful day out.

Thanks Pauly for letting me relearn some helming

Excellent company! Picnic in Priory where it was nice to catch up with Ian M and co.

Nice to see Fiona again! Carl, and Tony were intrepid hardboaters while Howard and lovely partner kept us all going in the right direction. Nautibuoy's dodgy t-shirt attracted comment!!!

A stop-off at Gunwharf for more passengers (a quick hello to Sir Hal Markaday) then a blast to the Folly where we lunched with Whiteshoes and Clan and Dennis & clan. Petey Seven was tucked up in bed by this time.

Up the Medina where even the swans were dancing, we had full view of the stage and could hear Coldplay loud n clear. Slimtim hailed us via text! And Scary Des and kieran were also nearby. 'Fix You' ended the night with some fab fireworks, just as Slimtim was heading into the Bacardi Tent! Martin and Antoinette did a great job in Poole meanwhile as Assistant OOD and Mrs. Assistant OOD.

Home on an oilslick of a sea....magic...

Top weekend

US

Mine 'n Rich's photos of the Sunday are here: http://www.james-davies.co.uk/e107_p...ge=15&o=0&l=15

Shame we missed all the rest of you, I had to go back off to work between 1630-1800 - looks like I missed more fun, and the best band!
