Isle of Man 2012

The plan for next year was made coming back in the car yesterday.........
We are going to change slightly as in the previous couple of years we have booked into the local hotel.
Apart from expense it commits us to a single day where weather has to co-operate or we don't get across.
Next June we are going down for four days and taking dive kit as well. There is a field right at the slip where the boats can be stored which lots of fishermen used to pick a tent. Toilet is 50yds away and showers open 24hrs are 75 yds away. The field is free.
We are going to go down and stay from saturday to Tuesday and go to IOM on the best weather days rather than saturday only.
I have talked to the local dive club and a couple of dives will be fitted in while we are there (and/or fishing)
This plan makes the whole trip much cheaper and increases the chances of getting across, company welcome to make up a group on top of the couple of non Rib netters that I know will probably come for the new plan rather than the day trip.
Only 12 months to go..............

Sounds good, might well see you then, it looks like the group I went with this year all want to go again next year and some of them are divers....

Blimey, BruceB, I shall have to bring a double-decker bus this time!

We need to get across first, hence the local plan for fishin' and divin' if we don't!
