Seriously though, I'll sort all that and more. You can PM your details to me too, BTW, as you'll be included in the plan. Can't lose you....

Fair play to you Liam - thats a long haul

There is a Applegreen service station just north of Dublin on the M1 which is a popular overnight resting halt for truckers if want somewhere to get a few hours kip.

Contrary to the popular wisdom expressed here I always tow my rigs to Redbay via the A43 from Ballymena.

C u there

Details PM'd.

Would the White Harte Hotel in Port Ellen be worth a try. Never was in it.
Its opposite side of the town.

Agree - A43 (Cushendall/Waterfoot Road) better than the coast road.

Ballah-main-ah, hi!

You're the Man on the Ground Joe - you should know. I generally begin my Final Approach from the north so I'm clueless, TBH.

I've been in the White Hart. It's not pretty . My skipper has ruled out Port Ellen for this trip and I have to agree with him, it doesn't fit the plan for a number of reasons.

BTW, there is a new hotel in PE, called the Islay Hotel (just before the White Hart). It looks pretty good. I had a chat with them today, as I pondered my options.

They're full

Forgot to add I'm CG66 registered so you can advise Belfast CG. Are any of the rest? It's a good scheme saves a lot of detail when registering a trip.
