IOM 1st-3rd May 2003 (Bank Holiday)

Hi folks after last years NW Ribsters aborted trip to the IOM who fancies another go.

Hopefully one of many trips this year.

Leave Conway Saturday 1st May, 10.00am

Tides are OK, giving a high tide set off, high tide, 8.30am.

Suggest leave from Conway at 10.00am (1.5 Hours after high tide). This will give RIBS coming by sea time to get in and back out but still with plenty of water & time for people launching, toghther with a resonable set of time for people driving.

Head across to Douglas, about 3 hours trip given resonable conditions.

Overnight in Douglas, leaving again at about 10.00 for a trip round the island, maybe stop of at Port Erin for lunch & a break before returning to Conway.

High tide on return is 10.10 PM, and I belive you can get into Conway HW+- 4 hours so should be able to recover 6.30-7.00pm.

As its a bank holiday people could do a extra day in the IOM or Conway if they want to. Maybe have a trip down Meni Strights on the Monday.

So keeping our fingers crossed for good weather, whos interested ?.

Regards Gary
