I will have to cry out due to unforseen faimily matters,

I think that Gavin is not going either, on his own, so that is two down,

I was really looking foward to the event, and I want to see lots of pic's and storys on ribnet.......

I will go next year, however...!!!!

PS there is a double room available at the Hotel now if any one wants it.... pm or email me...

So it begins and ends ......... I suppose the only people that will make it are Keith and his sidekick - Quicksilver!!!

No offence to anyone intended, BUT- its the old story with cruises and the like, I always work on a third of people showing up from the initial interest - WHAT A SHAME!

The other bad news I am afraid to announce, is that Alan Priddy has had to pull out due to personal circumstances. I have a letter from him I intend reading out to everyone ( or the one or two) present.

The real reason Alan Priddy has pulled out is because I threatened to take him for a ride in Quicksilver!

Perhaps that's why other people are dropping out. So just to reasure you all: THERE WILL BE NO COMPULSORY CREWING OF QUICKSILVER.

Charles, it will at the very least be you, me, Brian, Mike and Di Garside and David Manning.

Remember what I said after the SOC sendoff....Quicksilver may be small, but it was THERE!

See you Saturday

Good news!

Well it is for me anyway - as it turns out I'm not as busy on Saturday as I thought so I will be attending on Sat as well as Sun - Kevin (Kitten) is bringing the BananaShark round in convoy from Salcombe and I will meet up with whoever is there at the Marina.

Looking forward to putting some faces to the nicknames!

No doubt, Keith. We'll be there. Magellan Alpha is already moored up on J-Pontoon in Mayflower Marina while I spend the next few days up in Town - cruising up and down The Strand.

And I'll vouch for the undisputed fact that Quicksilver was there for the SOC send off. I even witnessed the sight of your crew jumping ship and transferring to anothe boat half way to the Barrage. I am right, am I not????

See you Saturday....
