Tried to reply to your private message Keith, but you're obviously a popular chap as your mailbox was full.

Sadly no, I won't be attending the meet. Lack of funds mainly. If I was going though, I'd be more than willing to join you on Quicksilver.

Matt

PS: have a bacon sarnie for moi

RIBase
!!

Guys and Girls!!
Important!!
All those attending please read Charles' new thread under "Other Stuff" if you want to eat on Saturday at the Invicta.
Roy, the owner is only doing one dining room sitting and can only do 40 covers. The room will then become the lecture room for the slide presentation.
So first 40 to reply to Charles get fed. The rest of you..........

Also the name badges are now made up (and very impressive they look though I say so myself, truly collectors pieces) so if there are any changes or additions to my last published list above PLEASE TELL ME NOW !!!

You know I find it difficult to understand but.....

All those ribless people attending and y'knowwhat, not one volunteer to crew Quicksilver. Lets face it what a choice: a 3.4m sib where you sit on the floor and get wet or a large rib where you get a nice dry jockey seat!

Come on chaps, there MUST be some daredevils amongst you.

Ah! I see that Alan Priddy is in need of a place....hmmmm. Now THAT would make a great photograph.

Still coming but sans RIB

Wont be bringing Blue Ice down to Plymouth at the weekend. Combination of a wheel bearing running hot (& not having a chance to look at it before the weekend) and it being a b****y long way from East to West. So will be standing on pontoons, lifejacket (and back brace) to hand looking hopefully at those who have brought their boats along!

Keith, Not sure my back is upto the SIB experience

Will be at Hotel on Friday night. Who else will be around?

Alan

Alan, I'll be there by friday evening. I think you and peper were part of the proposed M4 convey some time ago - i'd better dig through 35 pages of this stuff and find it i suppose to see if there is anyone else left in said convey.

I'm still comming with RIB although i don't think it'll be as early friday as planed because i too have a few jobs to do to boat and trailer which wont get started 'till thursday evening!!!

Brian - i am now crewed up - complete with Wife. Mike Tapp ("tappie") and Laura Tapp ("Mrs Tappie" - she hates that! / "Laura") if you want to complete your badge list. I'm sure they wont mind if you don't get a chance though.

Anyone got a spare room in the Invicta Sat evening given i now have two guests not one and i booked a twin room???

Look foward to meeting you all.
