Charles, my SIB lives on a trailer... So I may need to book trailing facilities - I'll send you an email this evening - promise!

As for a secret to let you in on , Julian, it's still a "Twinkle in my eye" (or more likely cash burning a hole in my pocket!) so not much to tell, except that it'll be quite modest.

May I suggest, when we get nearer the date, we all swap mobile phone nos., boat names and descriptions and use channel 82?/ 13? as a calling channel, so we can liase and meet up for the run down to Plymouth?
Doesn't the Longroom (QHM Devonport) use Ch 13? In which case best go for something like 77?

RIBase
Alan
According to my book of words:
Long Room use Ch 08, 12, 14 and 16
Mill Bay Docks (Ferries etc) use 12, 14, and 16 during ops.
Sutton Hbr use 12 and 16 and the other marinas monitor 80.

I think we are safe. Have used 13 and 82 before.
The only "interference" has been fishermen out in trawlers talking to each other, in I think Cornish, because I certainly can't understand a word they are saying!

Longroom Ch 14
Flag staff Ch13 (DEVONPORT DOCKYARD) also bridge bridge comms within the sound.

Just use normal ship-ship channel ie 6, 8, 72,77

Hmm, i can recall using 13 on a previous cruise in Plymouth and hearing QHM. I think 13 is ok outside the Sound. Suggest as Karl suggests we stick to normal ship-ship channel. Say 77.
