Phil

Yes David Manning, stayed at our house once, he ate 15 dripping sandwiches in an hour and insisted that I go down the off licence and get him some stuff called Mackeson.

Gnasher, his bloody pet ferrett escaped, ran up Britts trouser leg and it took us 2 hours to get Britt to release it! To this day she calls it Heinecken cos apparently it refreshes the parts other Pets cannot reach!

Ian yes i accept the lojisticcks (damn) loogisteeks(no) logihtikks (bo**ix) the driving might be a bit long winded. and yep I do know where north Wales is it's the colder part of Wales where everybody speaks with a scouse accent. What I do know is that Wolverhapton, North Wales and Hull are all past Watford so it should be a piece of cake. If I remember correctly the devils pass comes into it .

I was thinking of dropping the trailer off in Wolverhapton and bumming a lift with DM. I imagine it might be woth the effort cos according to DM you guys are all a good crap sorry I meant crack.

As he's a welshman most of the time except when he's an honorary frenchman, he should know where it is. He calls it the Land of my Fathers. Note the plural. This is because he's not exactly sure which one is his father.

DM

ps It looks like we may have to change the name of NWR to Northwest Boatless People.

Is this change of name because you've sold your 'Settee'.
I see you're interested in a Humber, going for home grown this time?

I'll be there...

Topped off the tank this weekend (120ltr) so ready to go. Anyone needing a lift will be more than welcome aboard MeMe as long as you don't mind stepping aboard a Med Style RIB, you know how unseaworthy they are !!!!(RIB International).

Jono, your fuel capacity will of course dictate the crusing path, however and no doubt our leader (Ribless Ian) will have a plan. David and I will of course, as usual go with the flow as long as we've fags, cigars, coffee and a tot of sort in hand for when we stop. I will of course provision for additional crew.

I will be launching from Jono's slip rather than my beach as the tractor service has now finished for the season so, I'll see everyone there anytime from 0900 onwards.

Graeme.

Go with the flow

This one's down to someone else as I'm ribless, which you so kindly and 'often' point out MeMe.

I think my fuel range is enough to get me to Ireland and back.

In that case......

As DM is the instigator of this Cruise it's upto him, however, and weather dependant may I suggest we attempt to finally get to Bardsey (me that is) ! In that way we're passing by the St Tudwals islands (always a favorite), across Hell's Mouth (Porth Neigwl) and Aberdaron Bay where we could always go ashore for a quick hot drink if time permits etc. Total trip distance less than 80 miles. Therefore, only slight refueling required for the likes of Phil Davies (if he brings his Searider) and a possible "just a top up" for Jono and Amy. As for Ian, no fuel or refueling required as he doesn't have a RIB at the moment.

I'll be in Conwy Saturday and Sunday, travelling Friday night late.
What time were you planning to meet up David?

Fancy not having a boat. What sort of person is he? It must be terrible not having a boat.

Pwllheli slip at 0930 hours looks good to me with the aim of visiting Bardsey or somewhere depending on sea state because these med style boats may have a bit of bother. Wavehumper has expressed an interest but I don't think we can let him land on Bardsey with all those sheep. The Jackeens have also said that they would like to venture away from the Solent.

What about the newer NWR'ers. Come on. Time to get your feet wet. If you're going to try a new boat out, this is the time to do it.

If accomodation in Pwllheli is required, the Langholme guest house is cheap and cheerful. 15 per person.
