HOW ABOUT A TRIP TO........ Next Summer

As promissed there are some prices I have collected:

a. Saron hotel 2ble room B&B Euro 65/day
4 beds room B&B Euro 90/day

b. Ferries (Super Fast Ferries) They did not give me a discount
vehicle and up to 6 mtrs trailer and up to 1.90 mtrs hight
Euro 595 return Sept 2003 prices
Vehicle and up to 9 mtrs trailer and up to 1.90 mtrs hight
Euro 560 return
Cabins 4 berth 1st cals Euro 233 each return
2 berth 1st calss Euro 330 each return

While in Greece please estimate about Euro 30-50pp/day fpr food etc.
Petrol in Greece is Euro Cent 0.74-0.78/ltr
Can any one say if they are seriously interested since you now know the approximate costs.

For Manos it sure was. Don't know which to mention first. The calm sea, the brilliant sunshine, or the high (more than 20 C) temp. It was one of those days that make you jelous.

I understand that for many (not to say all) of the UK community of this forum a trip to Greece towing a RIB on a trailer tere and back may be expenssive, long and a bit tedious.

However, what about the Greeks of this forum any of you lads want to cruise in company the Aegean beg July this summer??

Say go to Kea, Kithnos, Serifos, Paros/Antiparos, Ios and if the weather holds up to Santorini and back all this in 2 weeks time. Itinerary will include lots of spear gub fishing, tawling (if any one will be pationed enough to do it), B+Qs on the beach with plenty of wine and lots of fun.

This however, needs a lot of planing i.e. time of departure (THE MOST IMPORTANT ) booking hotels or rooms, arranging for petrol stops, emergency procedures etc.

If you are interested please let me know (best to email me) to have a meeting when I'll be in Greece for the next 2 weeks or so.
