On the way from uk to sweden?? (in late may/june?)

# Schevenningen is on the list

Last time we sailed and did not stop at any islands outside the coast.

RIBase
I would definately suggest to go to the 'waddenzee' , the sea between the dutch islands / mainland, and plan a visit to one of the islands vlieland or terschelling. Both islands have marinas on the eastern side...be careful at low tides with the sandbanks in the 'waddenzee' and therefore suggest to bring a good map and plotter. Further north is lauwersoog, the fishery port close to the nature reservation lauwersmeer. The area was initially developed for the military but is a large reservation right now which would recommend ( if you have time, on the lake there is a small town called oostmahorn which is very much worth a look).

Gohelm is right,

Lauwersoog is a good place to have a stop. From the german islands, my favorite one is Spiekeroog. Our one and only real offshore island Helgoland is also worth to have a closer look.

At pentecost our rib club meets each year somewhere around this area. Maybe we see us...
