Hi.. is this cruise still a goer? Still July? We were interested in joining the Alderney cruise in June but it appears problematic as the boat will be in Salcombe and the bulk of members are setting off from the Solent. However, we can't go in July; can anyone do anything in June? How about a trip to the Isles of Scilly?

us local south western ribsters go to the scilly isles practically every weekend that the weather is nice - we plan most of our trips here

The Gouliot passage between Sark and Brecqhou is only 80-100 feet wide as I remember, tide touches 7 knots on a big spring!
Beats Alton Towers any day!

It certainly does at 70mph - I could feel the boat "squirming" underneath me due to the tide, very unnerving the first time!

Excellent vid! It has been perfect boating weather last few days, you're lucky to be able to get out during the week!
