good solent spots for camping

Hi,
Apart from studland where is a good spot around the solent area where you can anchor overnight, go ashore/beach and maybe bbq??

You can't BBQ or camp at Studland-just anchor-it's National Trust and they'll kick you off if they catch you.

There's one or 2 places in the Solent it's possible, but don't expect to be told on 'open' forum as they'd be flooded with chavs in bowriders.

oopps sorry I can camp on the rib, just be nice to go somewhere where there is a nice beach!

Sorry, thought you meant camping on the beach

In which case-check your PM box, and if they are still there and you've got a tender,there used to be big public BBQs and tables in the northwestern end of Yarmouth harbour,
