Fowey BIBOA Cruise 14th July

Evening All

I hope all is well, I have started to sort out a cruise from the Solent to Fowey in Cornwall. We will be leaving on the 14th July and returning on the 19th. So far I have had a lot of interest and several confirmed boat leaving from the Solent and Poole.

Fowey is a fantastic place to cruise to and arond, there are lots of very good places to go from there.

If you are free over this period and would like to join what looks like being one of the biggest events this year please let e know as soon as possible as I have a lot of arranging to do and there will be limited space etc.

I hope many of you can join us and weather permitting we will have some fantastic runs from Fowey.

See you soon

Julian

Hi Julian,
I should be around then and as I'm only just "down the road" from Fowey, I would anticipate popping up and joining you for at least a couple of runs, or if you're going to be heading westward from Fowey then I can always meet you off Falmouth.

Cheers

Fowey 14th July

Hello Mr Priddy, yes definately do not try and tow your boat through the high street, you may find that it wont fit through. I think Dad was hopeing you had forgotten about that.

Fowey 14th July

Evening Everyone

Just to update you a little with regards to this event. So far we have 7 confirmed boat leaving from different areas of the south coast. 3 are from the solent and the others we are collecting along the way. I have also had phone calls from people who will be towing boats down and also some local people who will join us.

This event is getting a good following now and if there is anyone else that would like to run down to Fowey with us please let me know asap so I can arrange moorings etc for you, there is limited space for this.

Its looking to be a very good event. I hope many of you can make it.

See you soon

Julian

Fowey 2005

Evening

The numbers for this event seem to be settling down abit now so just to update you. In total we have 13 boats for this event. The plans are arrive Thursday afternoon from the solent, Moor up and I will book a meal now for everyone that evening, there is a very nice place to eat on the quay, will see if they can send me a copy of the menue if that helps, Friday meet up with a few local Ribsters who can show us a few sites around the area, Saturday is the class 1 powerboat racing in Plymouth (qualifying i think ) race sunday, we will also look at Falmouth / Mevagissy whilst were there and tuesday start the run back to the Solent. If there is anywhere in particular you want to visit just let me know and were pop in and have a look.

For accomodation this seems to be a good site http://www.fowey.co.uk

Moorings are a problem at the moment but we have a man sorting that out for us, fingers crossed we should have our own pontoons.

If you have recieved the forms sent out kindly by Louise in Riblines can you get them back to me asap so i can book in your details etc. All looks good so far, There maybe a few more boats involved but some people cant say yes just yet.

See you soon

Julian
