Daniel (1),

What are your plans for Sunday 2nd? I'm busy 'till sat. pm but might tow down for Sunday if you are about - i get the impression you have some local knowledge and would like to draw upon it being a solent first-timer! Also my usual 'crew' has gone to Southampton uni and would be able to pop down!

Week End Trip

Hi Guy's,

If people are wanting to meet up this w/end 1st 2nd may I suggest we try for the "FOLLY" trip again?

I am keen to go exploring but not on my own not much experience. Daniel this would mean you could launch Portsmouth & cruise up to Southampton Water.

I would suggest meet in the Camber Dock at Portsmouth, Launching & Parking Facilities & Toilets & Cafe on hand aswell.

I know it is a neap tide not sure on times will check tonite.

If anyone is interested pm me to confirm.

Happy playtimes

HW Portsmouth on Sunday (only day i could make) is just before miday. I have no local knowledge what-so-ever of this area but am very keen to visit the Infamous Foley with some people who do have the local knowledge!

Ageing youth (don't know your real name) if you fancy this then Sunday meet @ portsmouth would prob. be good, but will need to check Land Rover is free @ work!

Lunch at the Folly on Sunday sounds good. I will be launching from Lymington but will head round to Portsmouth to meet up with everybody else.

This Sunday

Hi Guy's

It is looking promising for this Sunday. High Tide is approx mid morning, Those of you wish to go meet up in the Camber Dock for about 10:30am?

Then once we are all together head off to have lunch/drink's at The Folly pub.

This may sound like a daft question but dose anyone know it exact location, I have heard of it but never been there.

We have had an offer for a camera man to take some pic's to post on the net (thank's Pete).

Weather forcast is looking reasonable for w/end. If anyone is unsure on the morning give me a ring on 07761 864043 not before 08:00 please. If you are on the water & Travelling Ch16 callsign "Southcoast Two"

See you all Sunday.

The Folly Inn

is on the River Medina, upriver of Cowes about 3-4 miles on the left hand bank. It has its own pontoon moorings which certainly in the summer at least you have to pay for even if eating there.

HTH,
Alan
