Beleive me - there are alot easier ways for me to get to Fowey or Looe for lunch - I have to drive 25 miles in the wrong direction to put my boat in the water - if it were not the Ribbing that I was doing this for I would get there in just 20 minutes and save aroung 70 in gas if I went by car.

I will launch between 10-11 am so where should we meet.

I suggest you drive towards Falmouth and Ill drive towards Par - both hugging the coast and we will meet somewhere in the middle.

You do have a VHF dont you - Ill give you a shout on that.

Polperro or Looe both sound great - Ive never been to either...

The last 3 days all look wet and windy - but no ones allowed out without telling me first
I'm not missing the last cruise of 2005...

When do you reckon the first one of 2006 will be...

Great Roy,
I'll be on the water by 11 and will head west along the coast, my VHf is non DSC so give me a shout on 77. I'll give Bob another hour and then expect his post to start "I've re-arranged........"

Hmmm..
Well it didn't go quite as planned, oddly conditions prevented us doing much mileage, we both ended up at Mevagissey, but at different times!
PS how exactly do you flush your engine through with a frozen hose?

Messy, very little wind but from the east giving a chop which slowed progress considerably. Scilly would have been a real chore so yes great call from Roy.
