Meet

Hi Peter

Our boat is kept in Lymington and were meeting with everyone from 11am onwards in Yarmouth, Having lunch and a few pints in the Weatsheaf pub and will probably leave there at about 1pm etc. If you fancy poping over for lunch and a few beers feel free, be good to meet some fellow Rib Net members .

Thanks for the reply I will do my best to meet you in Yarmouth.

Assume the Wheatsheaf is close to the water and there is somewhere to tie up for a while. I do not know Yarmouth but I am sure I will manage to find you.

See you Saturday.

Peter

Weymouth Plans

Morning All

The weekend is nearly upon us so i thought i would just jot down some info for you. 1st I have ordered good weather and so far it seems that we are going to be ok. Max Force 3-4 and no rain promised over us.

Plan For Saturday

Meet in Yarmouth around 11-12 am. I will be there from 11am anyway. Then into the Weathsheaf for lunch and a few beers etc. The plan is to leave Yarmouth at about 1.30 - 2pm. Any one who needs fuel can fill up in Yarmouth before we go.

Roughly 40Nm to weymouth so we should arrive about 4pm depending on sea conditions etc. Drop our bags off at the Crown Hotel which is next to the Bridge and make our way to the Irish Bar opposite the hotel on the harbour front. Have a few beers then change for the evening meal at the Yacht Club again on the harbour front about 5 mins walk from hotel.

Sunday 5th Oct

Wake up feeling rough, we normally have to leave the hotel by 11am. By this time they have had enough of us etc. Head straight back to Yarmouth for 1pm for Sunday lunch in the Royal Dorset Yacht Club and thats the end of the weekend.

Hopefully weather will be good, either way we will have a good time.

VHF CH 77 to be used for the cruise
Our boat is called Liquidator if you need to contact us etc.

See you all on Saturday morning

Julian

The Gathering in Yarmouth

This is what it is all about , The Ribs , and what a collection of fine speciments

Great weekend and a great crowd of people sharing the same pleasure of ribbing .

I won't mention the weather in too many details but it was bad!!!
specially for us on Seahawk as we had travelled that day from Littlehampton in total 95 Nm and we had to get back there which we did but had to give the lunch in Yarmouth a miss
