Great idea, how about putting a map of the route on the front or back, that way you could print a new batch each year. (might even help the navigation! )

Now that's what I call a plan!! Grt idea. If Ally is successful re his other plan maybe it would be easy to use it for ERR.

Easdale Rib Rendezvous to Loch Sunart

Coincidentally

Loch Sunart is the subject of an SNH pilot project on underwater animation. See link below

SNH

Pretty tame stuff for the divers in the rib family , but of some interest to those rib owners who prefer stay on the surface of the water! You can now do a "virtual dive" without all that faffing about with dive gear!

Its a month since the last update re numbers etc. Is there any further news. It just to try and keep it to the fore so to speak so that people don't forget the event and keeps 'live' on forum.
Cheers

Jambo et al
Apologies for the lack of info. There will be an updated e mail to all circa mid April.

We had an article in RIB Magazine this month and there has been some interest generated. GeoffW will recirculate info to RYA Schools, Marinas etc in about a week's time.
Easdale harbour is up and running for the season, The Puffer and the Oyster Bar are primed to bring in extra beer, Easdale Hall is booked (just incase it rains) and the band are also booked.
Numbers - Been speaking to various people- yes we are coming - must get on and register. I know some are trying to swap shifts.
The aim is 30+ RIBs and I am quietly confident. The more the merrier.
T shirts have been mentioned. Laura and Simon in the ticket office are working on this. They are getting branded Seafari stuff organised for the season so will add it to the order.
Farmerrenton who looks after all things web has moved house, has floorboards up etc so I need to catch up. Seafari - we are building a new cabin boat for ourselves, doors and windows have not arrived and Easter descends rapidly! New Seafari crew arrive Monday. Everything will be relaxed and in control by 4th may, it is one of my 'relax' weekends.

UPDATE
32 RIBs now registered and this is without a whole bunch of local RIBs from the area who we see regularly and all of whom say they are coming.
Laura in our ticket office is on the case regarding T shirts and we will try and put an order together when the mail goes out mid April

Oh for more of this weather, it is absolutely stunning here at Easdale. The seas are so calm. For the divers in the group the water is currently gin clear.
