Tony may be busy so I’ll answer these from previous experience:

There isn’t really a slipway at “eilenbach” it’s a stony (slate) beach. Some quite big boats have launched over it and Tony has a tow bar extension to help. Getting a motor home stuck there could be expensive so you may prefer to launch at the ferry slip at Cuan and motor round (it’s 5-10 mins).

You used to be able to “camp” right next to the slip at the back of the highland arts centre. That may no longer be possible (and “sadly” those who never got to experience the Highland Arts Centre will never see anything like it!). There was a post on the Easdale Rib Facebook page last week about someone in balvicar who had space for four campers including showers etc. For a small fee.

you should be OK with that size boat - there's normally help available if needed, and it's likely there'll be someone around with a 4 x 4 available if you get nervous.

the ferry slip is very accessible and you would have no bother there (as long as the ferry's finished for the day or on its lunch break) and it really is only 10 mins by road or sea
