Great day yesterday but I've got to admit my body is a little sore today.

The boat ran perfectly apart from a little "pucker up" moment at the top of Ghia when the engine just cut out whilst doing 25knts, I had unknowingly knocked the ignition key with my knee and turned it off! Lesson learned.

Many thanks to Jambo for the accommodation and hospitality, also to Tony Hill and Seafari staff for making this years event a success.

Thanks Tony (and Crew) for yet another couple of days of great ribbing.
The weather ended up being fine - just a few sleety / rainy showers but otherwise sunshine and sunburn and not too much wind (at least in the daytime).
There were about 35 ribs we think for Saturday - some doing the full monty tour from Easdale - Eilean Mor (MacCormaig Isles) - Gigha - McArthur's Head - Craighouse and back to Easdale. About 92 nm for the day.
Here's a few photos from Saturday....

Today (Sunday) we had a shorter day - with about 10 ribs in total getting out for the day.
Due to the wind we changed from the original plan, and did Easdale - Loch Spelve and Loch Usig (on Mull) - Craignure Bay - Loch Adine (for Lunch), then down to the lighthouse at the Southern end of Lismore, and back to Easdale.
About 46 nm in total, with it just starting to rain for the last leg back.

A few of us are hoping to get out again tomorrow for maybe a run down to Crinan or maybe just Craobh Haven - but we'll see what the wind's doing.

Trevor, I hope you managed to find somewhere today. Based on the forecast we pulled the boat out yesterday afternoon, and decided to visit Kerrera by road today instead. Early afternoon I though I had missed a trick as the wind seemed to drop and the white horses died away... ...but 15 minutes later a squall came through that I certainly wouldn't have fancied in our wee boat and that was in the shelter of Kerrera sound!
