Met up with Mike C today in Dartmouth when I was doing a charter from the Resnova. Once when I was going in and he was going out and again when I was going out and he was going in!! If you all follow that. Resnova food was A1. New owners very helpful and welcoming.
Mike plans to be there at 1200 as he will already be in Dartmouth.
Looking at the forcast I personally think it will be a bit too yucky to go around to Dartmouth for a Jolly.
And it look slike I might be on CG patrol as well now. Will make a decision tomorrow Sat about this time.
Brixham will be sheltered as will most of Torbay.

Been watching the weather all morning and the webcams around the area and it looks to wet and windy for us

Sorry I didn't get to meet you all maybe another time.
Looks like it's going to be here for a few days now

Went down to the harbour at dinner and took this picture
Not looking so nice.

Just thought I would finish this thread!

The weather forecast for the Sunday was awful! In the end though it only rained a bit and didn't blow much more than a force 4. We even poked our nose out of the harbour in Prime Rib II on Sunday afternoon. Its a shame the weather people got it wrong and did a sort of reverse Michael Fish!

Anyway, nice to meet you again, David. Maybe we can sample the delights of Resnova another day?

Actually, I had hoped to do a dinner, bed & breakfast with them on Sunday Night. The nice lady in the water taxi said they had a spare room for Sunday. However, when I rang to book, I was firmly told by the gent who answered they didn't do B&B on Sunday unless we stayed 5 nights! He didn't seem too keen to please so we stayed on dry land instead . - Oh well!

Good trip, never the less.

We didnt launch until monday and were quite glad as it teemed down where we were.
We did go to Dartmouth with the idea of getting the hospitality boat to pick us up,but when we called the Resnova, they told us that they were closed until Wednesday due to unforeseen circumstances!
