The run back to Portsmouth. The Jackeens with Antoinette & Martin on board Zeb. Great day, sadly the weather changed making me leave Seahawk 2 in Portsmouth

and a great great pity that due to weather the race had to be cancelled

My nephew Chris and his girl friend Ola having survived the run from LAmpton which they greatly enjoyed

Actually we didn't take any photos of the powerboating because of having 2 photographers on board....

And I hope they send / post some copies soon or anyone viewing this thread will see us pootling on Zeb as the only moving object

Or someone else may have some.. ???????????

BIG thank you to the Jackeens for taking us out for the day, it was brilliant fun if a little lively on the way back . Good to meet Andre and his crew, look forward to seeing them again. And a big well done to Carl and Matt in Explosion for coming in a brilliant second on Saturday behind a bigger and more powerful boat.

Excellent hospitality from the Jackeens as ever and we hope to be out in our new boat next weekend all being well.

M & A

Great to meet up with the intrepid crews of Zeb and Pendragon on Sat. Thanks for the invite to join you all down to Yarmouth. Natasha loved it, and only complained once about being splashed. I now know exactly where I need to put some more grab handles!
I hope we did not scare Stuart and Paul too much and trust you got out from under the gang-way safely.

Our pleasure to be out with such cool peeps (Hi Natasha )

Thanks for your excellent company and we'll roadtest the newbie next weekend Anto and Martin. (Think it was the sausage rolls that affected the trim alright )

Hello,

I would just like to say a big big thank you to the Jackeens for taking me out on Sat to take some pics of the powerboats. It was very kind of you and your hospitality was exceptional! I was also very impressed with Zeb, despite getting water down the back of my neck a couple of times when lying on the bows, I remained very dry 95% of the time!

It was great to meet some more ribbers off the forum (Whiteshoes and Mark H...is that right? and Aging Youth and co.) and of course the racers! Thanks to Cookee for showing me around on Friday and spending the time to explain a few things to me. I hope you all liked the choc cake!

I got some good photos, a few of which I hope to post up here in the Gallery. Cookee and Carly Baby, I have a few of you guys going ultra quick so will post them. Kathleen, the pink boat will be up just for you

The weather is supposed to be improving for september so lets hope we can all get out ribbing again soon.

Jackeens, thanks again, you are very very ni...

Cheers

Tim
