Assuming the blast round Oban Bay tomorrow night sea testing is fine and weather looks good of course.
Are there any other little (<5.5m) boats going or will I just be feeling inferior all on my own? :-)

Launched about 1900, zoomed about a bit, all seemed OK. On mooring looked at water separator/filter. Looked like red diesel . Had Soltron in fuel last year, and this is last years fuel. Checked for water etc., while ashore, but must have stirred it all up getting to mooring. I'll have to try to get rid of whatever it is, but engine ran well - probably until the filter clogs. Bit of a whittle this. Still - should still get there but it looks as if I'll be going round in circles for a while in the loch here until I can clear the fuel. £££ . Not the best place to break down, the Gulf.

I also launched in Oban around 1900 and had a quick zip round the harbour testing.
Everything seems to work OK but I suspect I need a new battery. I had drained my fuel system last year and it has cost me putting 82lts of fuel in the boat to refill it!
We will most likely launch from Cuan and have a barbie somewhere on a beach at lunchtime before joining up, possibly near Craobh if anyone else is around....

Yeah! I used all my spare cans full in the car, but couldn't be bothered to syphon it out of the boat. Should have done really. I'd have saved money too, cos the stuff in the boat was 99.9p per litre and now it's only 93.9 in Tescos.

If I can sort the fuel, I'll be away somewhere for lunch too.
