Fine. was 15 for a launch/ recover, more if you want them to do it for you (I say was as it may have gone up?).

Concrete slip usseabe by a family car @ all states, plenty of pontoons to tie to once you are afloat, plenty of places to park car & trailer in amongst the empty yacht cradles. Toilets etc always clean. Hose & jetwash (jetwash only if staff present) available once you recover.

If we are seriously talking Millport I may throw the boat in at Helensburgh / Rhu just to get some running in & warm the engine up! Unless anyone fancies a lap of Arran / Bute or something else first?

At least going there it's got a decent sized pontoon that costs hee haw and it's got a beach!

Think with this number of people interested it will be more of a get together than an expedition.

Plus after a few beers Millport to kip seems like a nice journey!!!

Thank for the info, it sounds a lot easier than kip which is a struggle at low water . Should we not go round bute for a blast to work up an appetite before cumbrae?

Sounds good to me or we could go to ettrick bay on Bute as it has a safe beach, facilities for the fairer sex and nice ice cream. I am happy wherever on the Clyde as it will be a damn site better than the beating we took out on the Forth yesterday....it was fun but brutal. I even managed to crack the gel coat on the transom after some really big hits. At least we didn't stuff the bow.

looks like the 16th is increeasingly unlikely for me.

If any of you are still on the beach on the sunday......

Have a good one.

AS someone who was born in Bute you could not pick better although there are many nice beaches around the island. It is safe plenty of room and has facilities there tearoom and toilets.
Hope you have a nice one
