Sorry Chris

It does seems to be a common problem on here with any thread - just take a look at my Pembrokeshire one - I find that creating a list of those interested and then posting can help bring it back on track (or just the commonly used words Shut the F**k Up!!! )

Dates.

So it looks like the 5th or 6th for Neil and Matt, Maximus & Hightower are game so I reckon we have the weekend chosen. We can settle on the Saturday or Sunday once everyone lets me know which they prefer.

So can everyone who is up for this respond so we can get an idea of numbers?

Chris

Hi Chris,

Sat or sun for me... given the recent winds, it might end up being the weather deciding the day!

Doh - I'm sure I've missed the plans elsewhere in the thread but where are we meeting and what are we doing??

Just trying to get my head around possible weather challenges and my complete lack of experience - to be honest anything much more than a fairly light chop and I'll probably have to pass until more experience is gained in better weather - would we be able to met you all there by car (where ever there is!!)

TQ

Hi Tim - That would be great thank you - there would be two of us if thats okay and would be more than happy to help with fuel cost etc. Would love to use our own one but worried about biting off more than I can chew on only our 4th voyage out

Great offer from Tim, but a SR5.4 should be up to it, and nothing wrong with a bit of a baptism of fire in such a lot of company. the best trip I did was my first run in the solent I think, round the island with ribnet, very enlightening!

if it were me, i'd plan on taking my own boat, and chicken out at the last minute if really not comfortable with the idea, there will be plenty of spare seats, I will also have quite a few...
